When can I expect my delivery?

The scent from your subscription is shipped from our Stockholm office after the 25th of each month and is expected to land in your mailbox at the very beginning of each new month. However, the first scent in your subscription will be sent out on the first working day after your order is placed. The delivery estimate from Sweden to the UK is between 7–21 business days. Orders purchased directly in our shop will be shipped off on the first working day after you placed your order. 

Due to the current postal situation in Europe, please allow up to 30 business days for it to arrive.

When can I expect to be billed for my subscription?

Your subscription will be charged on the 25th of each month. If you do not want to get your new scent, you need to cancel your subscription before 11:59 pm on the 24th. If your subscription is cancelled after the billing day, your monthly scent will be sent to you and the cancellation will apply to your future payments.

Can I pause my subscription?

You can easily pause your subscription by logging into My Account, go to ‘Subscription settings’ and choose between the alternatives in ‘Select subscription frequency’. Please notice that all changes to your monthly scent need to be made before 11:59 pm on the 24th of each month.

I haven’t received my scent yet. What do I do?

If your subscription was billed on the 25th and you haven’t yet received your scent in the middle of the next month, we apologize for the inconvenience and kindly ask you to contact us at [email protected]

If you have purchased something in our shop, please allow the parcel up to 30 business days to arrive. If you have not received your scent within this amount of time, please email us at [email protected] and we will happily help you.

Please note that we kindly ask you to have a little extra patience during these times, and give your order a few extra days before you contact us.

I’ve forgotten to change my address, what happens now?

When your payment is confirmed on the 25th, your order is packed and sent to the address specified in your subscription. Therefore, all changes to your monthly scent need to be made before 11:59 pm on the 24th of each month.

If your scent is returned to us because of a faulty address, we will charge an administration fee of £5. This is the same for single purchases made in our webshop.

How do i redeem my gift card?

Have you received a gift card at Sniph? Congratulations! You can easily fill in your code at checkout when signing up for your subscription. You will find the code on the gift card.

Which collection should I pick?

Discovering new scents should be inspiring and simple, but sometimes taking the first step is hard. Let us guide you towards the journey that is meant for you by taking our quiz. Get one step closer to finding your new favorite, again and again. As a subscriber, you can also swap collections whenever you want.

Is Sniph available for men?

For the men in our lives, we have created two collections for our subscription service, which are Work/Play & Aesthetic. The collection Avant-Garde is also a great choice for men, where each month is selected to be totally unisex.

Which perfumes do you send out in the subscription?

When subscribing to Sniph you will each month receive a carefully selected perfume from one of the world’s hottest perfume houses. The perfume you receive monthly is always an authentic scent from a curated choice of perfume houses, which is then re-packaged by Sniph according to rules and regulations from both producers and responsible authorities.

Prior to each monthly send out, our scent experts carefully choose which perfumes will be sent out in each collection. The choices are based on prior experiences, scent tests, and current perfume trends. The perfumes always vary from month to month.

Can I swap collections?

As a subscriber, you can swap collections at any time and however often you feel like. Simply log in to My Account, go to ‘Subscription settings’ and click ‘Change collection’ and choose the collection that you would like to swap to.

Make sure to swap before the 24th to ensure that our scent experts have enough time to send out the correct scent from your updated collection!

Can I choose the perfume myself?

You can always shop whichever scent you like in our shop, where you can find both full bottles as well as smaller bottles of the perfumes from the perfume houses we work together with. If you’re feeling unsure of what to choose, contact our scent experts at [email protected].

When it comes to subscription, you currently choose a collection that fits your scent personality and our scent experts curate which scents get sent out in each collection. You can then rate the scents you receive to get more personalized picks in future send outs.

How do you know I will like the scent you send?

We take our mission seriously and carefully handpick the perfumes we send you. When choosing perfumes we weigh in our own experience, reviews of the scent as well as insights from the industry. Our hope is of course that you will enjoy the scent we send you, but if this is not the case we are happy to help at [email protected].

Are all perfumes original?

Sniph only works with authentic perfume from the brands or their distributors. As a service, we decant the fragrance to our 8 ml bottle. We agree with trademark owners to repackage their scents and our process follows the guidelines that apply to handling cosmetic products.

How do I cancel my subscription?

Signing up to Sniph means getting niche scents without the commitment, and you can always pause your subscription if you want to skip your monthly scent. If you would still like to cancel your subscription you may do so at any time given that nothing else has been determined in for example a campaign offer. Log in to My Account and choose ‘Subscription settings’, then choose ‘Select subscription frequency’ > ‘Pause subscription’ > ‘Want to cancel your subscription? Click here’.

Please note that you need to cancel your subscription before 11.59 pm on the 24th of the month to avoid getting your monthly scent. If your subscription is canceled after this date, your monthly scent will be sent out and the cancellation will apply to future send outs and payments.

How do you guarantee the safety around the products you send?

Sniph only works with authentic perfumes, bought directly from either the brands or their Swedish distributors. All perfumes are per definition safe to use as intended when manufactured and labeled in accordance with EU regulations. The handling that occurs after this does not imply any health hazards, which Sniph has confirmed with a certificate from an approved safety assessor, also known as a toxicologist. Sniph, in turn, labels the fragrances according to the original bottle label and this has been approved by the Swedish Medical Products Agency, which is the authority responsible for this process in Sweden.

Naturally, you should always check that you are not allergic to anything in the fragrances that we send to you.

What are Sniph Points and how do I use them?

To earn Sniph Points in our shop, use the same e-mail address as the one in your subscription when making a purchase.

If you have chosen to redeem points against a bonus product, the value codes that you have activated are always saved until you consume them. You will find your activated value codes when you log in to My Pages and on the start page click ‘See all your points and bonuses’ then scroll down to ‘Your claimed rewards’. There you can click on ‘Show bonus’ to see your code.
You use the code at checkout to make the price of your chosen bonus £ 0 and then place the order for it.

How does Sniph classify perfumes?

It can be difficult to describe what something smells like as it is rare that we all experience the same notes in a scent. With that said, the more you learn about the language of scent, the more beautiful it will be to discover all facets of your perfumes.

As a first inspiration, we always include a description of your perfume made by our scent experts. It is up to you whether you want to use this to get to know your new scent, or if you would rather discover on your own.

What are fragrance groups?

To categorize our scents, Sniph uses 4 main groups. The overall impression determines what group your scent belongs to.

  • Floral Fruit Chypre – Freshly cut flowers, fruity cocktails and the fragrance equivalent of umami: chypre
  • Creamy Vanilla Powder – Melted honey, desserts and soft velvet
  • Spicy Woody Musk – Spices, exotic wood and soft musk
  • Green Clean Citrus – Freshly cut grass, aromatic leaves and refreshing citrus

How do you define complexity?

You often enjoy light scents right away. Complex scents may require a bit more patience. Like everything else, it’s a matter of taste.

What are perfume notes?

Notes are a selection of thousands of things that a perfume can smell like. They can be divided into top, heart and base notes, but we enjoy simplicity so we mention three clear notes to define the scents we send out. However, this doesn’t necessarily mean that you can detect all of these notes, and you might even create your own definition of what your perfume smell of.
