New in – Commodity Fragrances

Published August 11, 2021

In 2013, perfume house Commodity was launched through a crowdfunding campaign with the intention of changing the fragrance industry forever. The customers were ready for a more minimalistic approach to scent and perfume, while still demanding more from the perfume houses. Commodity then decided to be the first ever direct-to-consumer brand, also supplying the customers with samples of the scents before purchasing a full bottle. In 2015, the beauty and scent experts at Sephora opened their arms and the scents were introduced to more noses than ever before. But the brand grew too quickly. Commodity shuts down in 2019, leaving a gap in the scent market.

Later the same year, Vicken Arslanian decided to take advantage of the incredible opportunity of making sure the story continues on. Since then, Vicken and his team have worked to relaunch the much-loved scents in a new format and keep changing the traditional scent industry. We are now proud to present six of the classic perfumes in their newly launched format. Discover the scent of paper, velvet, gold and more – Commodity’s incredible scent universe is here to stay.
