Inspiration Olfactive: conscious, characteristic, authentic.

Stéphanie Avinent Teisseire is the person behind Inspiration Olfactive. The house was founded in 2021 when the experienced perfumer Stéphanie wanted to let her creativity flow freely. She has, ever since, created a collection of fragrances with a unique, authentic character. Consciousness lies at the heart of the house, where all scents consist of over 85% natural ingredients.

She took the first steps towards Inspiration Olfactive after 15 years as a perfumer, wishing to return to perfumery with an authentic and minimalist core – one where she could enhance and explore different notes. The inspiration behind the fragrances, Stéphanie says, can come from almost anywhere: “It’s impalpable, it comes at the bend of an encounter, a place, music or an emotion by smelling a raw material.”

She describes her process as a whirlwind of emotions and ideas that eventually begin to harmonize in the experimentation with notes and accords. According to her, the most underrated note is incense, which adds an extra dimension to perfumes depending on its use.

But if she were to describe her personality as a note, it would be spicy notes or amber: “I like the warmth”. It is clear that the scents themselves also have a strong personality – they link raw materials, character, and style, says Stéphanie: “perfume is like an extension of oneself”.
