Amber

Amber is usually an accord: several fragrance materials combined to create a particular character. Vanilla, benzoin and labdanum are common elements in its warm, softly sweet scent. Often found in the base, amber can feel powdery, spicy or slightly leathery. It is distinct from ambergris, a material whose scent is now often recreated using synthetic ingredients.
