Vanilla
Vanilla is a spice from the orchid species Vanilla Planifolia, Vanilla Tahitensis, and Vanilla Pompona, which are native to Central and South America. It can be found in the top, heart, and base notes of a perfume, and appears across all scent families. It is particularly popular in sweet gourmand fragrances. In other perfumes, it is often used to round out a composition, add sweetness, and soften.
