Parfums Berdoues have reinvented their scents for over a century, in order to match the longing of the current generation. Assam of India is a steaming cup of black tea from the Indian lowlands, where the smoky snake of burnt sandalwood gently curls in front of you. With a slice of lemon, the perfume designer Jennifer Riley has topped the whole experience, whirling the deeper aromas into a richer whole.
